Various reports Tuesday indicate former Michigan State basketball coach Jud Heathcote has slipped on the ice in Spokane, Washington, his hometown and he has cancelled his scheduled visit to Michigan State and its reunion game this weekend in Jenison Fieldhouse. Heathcote was to have coached one of the teams. He is reportedly okay despite his injury. Heathcote was MSU's head coach from 1976-95.
