Marcus Krueger scored midway through the third period in Chicago Tuesday night leading his Black Hasks to a 2-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings. Jimmy Howard returned to goal for Detroit two weeks after suffering a broken finger. Valteri Filpulla scored the Wings' only goal early in the first period on a power play. The Red Wings will be without star Pavel Datsyuk for the next two weeks after he underwent arthroscopic surgery on his knee earlier in the day. The Red Wings now have a 15-16-1 record on the road this season.
