Red Wings Win Late in Vancouver

The Detroit Red Wings ended their four game losing streak late Wednesday night with a 2-1 win in Vancouver over the Canucks. Tomas Tator scored late in the second period on a weird shot from the point that found the back of the net. The Red Wings had taken a 1-0 first period lead on a goal by Pavel Datsyuk. The victory improves the Red Wings' season record to 7-5-1 and they have three games remaining on their Western trip. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion.
