The Detroit Red Wings have lost another defenseman to an injury. Ian White will be sidelined two to three weeks after having surgery Wednesday to repair a deep leg laceration. Some muscles in White's leg had to be reattached during surgery. White was hurt during the Red Wings' 2-1 loss Tuesday night at Joe Louis Arena. The Red Wings are without defenseman Carlo Colaiacovo for a month with a shoulder inijury. The Wings have since signed 33 year old defenseman Kent Huskins toa one year contract.
