Boston Red Sox manager John Farrell said Thursday there was nothing but rosin on Jon Lester's glove when he beat the St. Louis Cardinals in game one of the World Series Wednesday night. A Cardinals minor leaguer posted a screen shot of Lester on Twitter and wrote: "Jon Lester using a little Vaseline inside the glove tonight?" But Farrell said Lester uses rosin, which is provided on the pitcher's mound, to get a better grip. Game two in the Series is Thursday night in Boston before the games move to St. Louis for game three on Saturday.
