The Detroit Pistons won their first game of the season Wednesday night at Philadelphia over the 76ers, 94-76. The Pistons had lost a franchise record eight straight games to begin the season. Philly shot a mere 30 per cent in watching its record fall to 4-4. Greg Monroe had 19 points and 18 rebounds to lead Detroit while Kyle Singler added 16 points. The Pistons have played seven of their first nine games on the road.
