Paul George Recovering After Surgery

Indiana All-Star Paul George is facing lengthy recovery after undergoing successful surgery to repair an open tibia-fibula fracture in his right leg. The 6-foot-9 forward suffered the gruesome right leg injury late in the U.S. national team's intrasquad scrimmage Friday night.
Pacers president of basketball operations Larry Bird has issued an updated statement saying it's too early to start talking about George's expected return.
Doctors estimate a full recovery could take up to 18 months.
George is expected to remain in the hospital for about three days, according to a statement from USA Basketball. Doctors say he's resting comfortably.
