Okemos Names New Football Coach

Okemos High School today named Jack Wallace as its new varsity head football coach. Wallace replaces Paul Palmer who stepped down after last season, his 7th on the job. Wallace lives in Okemos with his family. He spent 31 years as head coach at Fowlerville and was named to the Michigan coaches hall of fame late in that run. Last fall he served as an assistant at East Lansing with his eye to another head coaching position. Wallace met with his new team at 2:45pm on Wednesday.
