Notre Dame quarterback Tommy Rees will perform 50 hours of community service after pleading guilty to misdemeanor counts of resisting law enforcement and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in connection with his arrest outside a party store in South Bend, Indiana. The 20-year old Rees received a 30-day suspended jail sentence, 11 months of probation and must write a letter of apology to the officeres involved in his May 3rd arrest. Notre Dame plays at Michigan State September 15th at 8pm.
