The NHL negotiations in Toronto broke off after little more than an hour Thursday-- nothing more to discuss. the NHLPA rejected the management 50-50 offer from earlier this week saying it was a step backward. The NHLPA countered but the offer was quickly refused. Commissioner Gary Bettman said he is frustrated and disappointed. The lockout continues with no end in sight.
