Hoopfest will not be staged in Michigan State's Jenison Fieldhouse next month. The Big Ten women's gymnastics meet will occupy the necessary dates. Hoopfest began in Jenison in 2009 and was held during the state high school basketball tournament across the street in the Breslin Center. Hoopfest is due to return in 2014. Other sites were considered for this year but ultimately rejected.
