After losing ten of their last 13 games, the NBA's Brooklyn Nets have fired coach Avery Johnson. The team's general manager, Billy King, announced the move Thursday without saying who would be interim coach. But according to sources, assistant coach P. J. Carlesimo will coach the Nets at home Friday night against Charlotte.
