Nationals Finish With Home Field Advantage

The Washington Nationals beat the Philadelphia Phillies 5-1 Wednesday to finish the regular season 98-64 and clinched home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Cincinnati could match the record with a win Wednesday night but the Nationals own the tiebreaker. Washington will open its best of five playoff series on the road for two games at either Atlanta or St. Louis.
