DeWitt's Liz Nagel and Lansing Catholic High School junior Jacqueline Setas won their matches Wednesday in the Michigan women's amateur golf championship. It is being played at MSU's Forest Akers West Course. Nagel, medalist after 36 holes of qualifying, will be a junior on the MSU team this fall. The field is down to 16 with two matches scheduled tomorrow reducing the field to four for the semi-finals and finals to be played on Friday. Among those knocked out Wednesday was former two time champ Stacy Slobodnik Stoll, the current MSU women's coach.
