NHL Says No To Wednesday Negotiations

The NHL has turned down a proposal by the NHL Players Association to return to the bargaining table as early as Wednesday. Bill Daly of the NHL quickly said no to the offer because he said the owners made an offer last week which the players rejected. Daly says there is no reason to negotiate with the two sides so far apart. The NHL says games will be cancelled for good if no agreement is reached by October 25th.
