NFL Teams Cut Three Former Spartans

As NFL teams being reducing their rosters to 53 by regular season opening games next week, three former Michigan State players were released Friday.
The New York Giants cut Greg Jones, the Miami Dolphins let go B. J. Cunningham and the New England Patriots released Brian Hoyer. Jones was a 6th round pick in 2010, Hoyer was undrafted and backed up Tom Brady and Cunningham was a rookie and chosen in April in the 6th round.
