NFL Salary Cap Reportedly to Increase

Increase is expected to be five per cent

ESPN reported Thursday that the NFL salary cap is expected to increase five per cent to roughly $130 million for the 2014 season. Official word has not yet come. Teams have until March 11th to get under the cap and the Detroit Lions have already done so by cutting veterans Louis Delmas and Nate Burleson.
