The National Hockey League announced Thursday it is cancelling all games through January 14th which is now 50 per cent of the regular season. No new negotiations are set and the sides have not met since December 13th when a mediator tried to help. The players currently are trying to determine whether to de-certify their union. If an agreement is not reached by mid January the entire season is expected to be cancelled.
