NCAA Under Fire

The NCAA's latest scandal comes from inside its own walls. The NCAA said Wednesday it had botched the probe into allegations against Miami of Florida by conducting depositions in the presence of an attorney for former Hurricanes' booster Nevin Shapiro during bankruptcy proceedings. NCAA President Mark Emmert says some of the people involved are no longer working for the NCAA. The NCAA is now facing more than a half dozen other lawsuits including one in which a judge said NCAA investigators were "over the top" during the benefits case surrounding former Heisman trop;hy winner Reggie Bush. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion.
