Former legendary NFL owner Art Modell passed away Wednesday morning at the age of 87. Modell was an influential NFL stalwater when he owned the Cleveland Browns. He was vilified in Cleveland after moving the franchise to Baltimore in 1996. The move is believed to be the main reason why Modell never made it into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in nearby Canton.
