Minnesota Defeats Indiana


Minnesota downed top ranked Indiana 77-73 Tuesday night in Minneapolis, keeping the Gophers hopes for an NCAA tournament berth alive. Minnesota avenged an earlier 88-81 loss in Bloomington. Indiana still leads the Big Ten with a 12-3 record and home games remaining against Ohio State and Iowa and a road game at Michigan. The Hoosiers are 12-3 in the Big Ten, Michigan State is 11-4 and Michigan is 10-4. MSU plays at Michigan Sunday.
