Michigan regained the outright Big Ten men's basketball lead Wednesday night with a 79-50 rout over Nebraska in Ann Arbor. Michigan led by 41 points, 75-34, at one time in the second half. The Wolverines moved to 9-1 in Big Ten play, 17-5 overall. Michigan State can share the lead with a win at home Thursday night over Penn State. Michigan was coming in off its first league loss Sunday at Indiana, 63-52. Michigan coach John Beilein observed his 61st birthday Wednesday.
