Michigan State lost 21-2 in softball at Michigan Friday in a game called after 5 innings by the mercy rule. The Spartans scored on a wild pitch and led 1-0 after two innings before the Wolverines poured open the floodgates. MSU is now 7-2 in the Big Ten and 21-14 overall. Michigan is 10-0 in the Big Ten and 33-7 on the season. The teams play 1pm games Saturday and Sunday, both in East Lansing.
