Michigan Knocked Out of Big Ten Tournament

Michigan is the first team to be knocked out of the Big Ten baseball tournament in Minneapolis. The Wolverines lost to Illinois 3-2 Thursday after losing 11-2 to Nebraska on Wednesday. There are five teams remaining. Michigan loaded the bases in the first inning against the Illini with no one out, but the 4-5-6 hitters then struck out. Michigan never gained any momentum after that and the Wolverines' season is likely complete under first year head coach Eric Bakich.
