Micah Magnusson, a former Haslett High School football star from the 2006 season, died suddenly Wednesday at the age of 23. He suffered a brain bleed on May 27, 2007, the day of his senior open house and never recovered. He had planned to attend Moody Bible Institute.
The community rallied around the family over the years to help defray costs of his care. Micah leaves three brothers and a sister besides his mother and father. Funeral plans have not been announced.
