Marvin Miller Dies

baseball

Marvin Miller died Tuesday after a short battle with cancer. He was 95. Miller ran the baseball players' association from 1968 to '82 and brought free agency to the sport in 1973. It spread to other sports in their labor negotiations from that time forward. Miller helped pro athletes get the enormous salaries they receive today.
