Michigan State's women's basketball team has lost center Madison Williams for the entire upcoming season. Williams tore her left ACL in practice Tuesday night and will require surgery. Recovery time is 4-6 months. MSU guard Aerial Powers, another starter, was lost for the season with a similar injury in practice last Friday.
Williams, a 6-7 McDonald's all american from Detroit Country Day, is a redshirt sophomore but has played just three games in her career. This is her third ACL tear in three years. It's the seventh ACL injury for MSU players, including Williams, over the past seven seasons.
