MSU Women Tied For Big Ten Lead

Michigan State's women's golf team shares first place after one round of the Big Ten championships which began Friday in French Lick, Indiana. It's a 54-hole event. MSU is ranked 23rd in the nation. MSU shares the lead at 298, tied with Ohio State. Caroline Powers, an MSU junior, is tied for first place after shooting an even par 72. Senior Lindsey Solberg shot 73. DeWitt's Liz Nagel opened with a 74.
