MSU Women Lose to Illinois

After starting the Big Ten schedule with a 4-0 record, Michigan State's women's basketball team dropped its fourth straight Thursday night, 71-62 to Illinois at the Breslin Center. The game went to overtime tied at 58-58. Illinois entered play 0-7 in the Big Ten and 6-14 overall. Porsche Poole scored 28 points for Michigan State and all four for the Spartans in overtime. MSU falls to 4-4 in Big Ten play and 12-9 on the season.
