MSU Women Look to Next Season

The season is over for Michigan State's women's basketball team. The Spartans finished with two straight losses-- 76-67 to Purdue in the second round of the Big Ten tournament and 67-55 Saturday in the NCAA tournament's opening round game to Louisville. The game wa splayed at College Park, Md. MSU was the ten seed and Louisville number seven.
MSU finishes 20-12 and a second place regular season finish in the Big Ten. The Spartans lose three seniors-- Porsche Poole, Taylor Alton and Lykendra Johnson, all starters. They hope to return Madison Williams at center, sidelined the entire season with a torn ACL. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion. Please respect and abide by the house rules:
