Holt's Justin Alleman and Grosse Pointe's Cam Gibson will enroll at Michigan State this fall and join the baseball team. Both were chosen in the June amateur draft. Their names cannot return to the draft until after their junior seasons are complete. Gibson, Kirk's son, was drafted in the 38th round by the Arizona Diamondbacks and Alleman, Mr. Baseball in 2012, was an 18th round pick by the Kansas City Royals. The two had until Friday to sign pro contracts but they made their announcements through MSU on Tuesday.
