The NCAA has granted a waiver to Michigan State football receiver DeAnthony Arnett, clearing him to play this fall. Arnett transferred from Tennessee where he played a year ago as a freshman. He played in high school at Saginaw. Arnett transferred to be closer to his ill father and the NCAA is not forcing him to sit out a year as is the general rule.
Also Athlon Sports, the nation's number one selling pre season magazine ranks MSU as 18th in its pre season poll and predicts the Spartans will finish 3rd in the Legends Division race this fall.
