MSU Women Rout Saginaw Valley

Michigan State's injury depleted women's basketball team routed Saginaw Valley State 74-35 in an exhibition game Thursday night at Breslin Center. Jasmine Thomas led a balanced attack with 16 points. MSU led 35-16 at halftime. The Spartans only used six scholarship players who are currently healthy enough to play. MSU plays one final exhibition at home Sunday at 2pm against Grand Valley State before opening the season at home November 11th against Texas Arlington.
