MSU Women Rout Illinois

Michigan State's women's basketball team avenged an earlier home loss to Illinois Wednesday night with a 69-53 victory over the Illini in Champaign. Becca Mills and freshman Tori Jankoska each scored 22 points and each had four rebounds to lead the Spartans. MSU is now 8-2 in Big Ten play with six league games remaining and the Spartans remain one game behind Penn State. MSU is 16-7 overall. Prior to the game MSU announced that guard Kiana Johnson has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion.
