MSU Women Lose at North Carolina

Michigan State's women's basketball team ended its season Tuesday night with a 62-53 loss at North Carolina in the second round of the NCAA tournament. Thus MSU misses the Sweet 16 for the fifth straight year. Jasmine Hines came off the bench to lead the Spartans with 16 points. MSU trailed 57-31 early in the second half after trailing by nine at halftime and was too far behind to catch up. MSU shared the Big Ten regular season title and finishes 23-10. The game marked the end of MSU careers for seniors Klarissa Bell and Annalise Pickrel.
