Michigan State's women's soccer team improved to 3-0 Friday with a 3-1 win over visiting Loyola of Maryland. Loyola's lone goal was scored by Nichole Schiro, a senior from Okemos. Schiro was a star for the Chieftains before accepting a scholarship at the Maryland school. She played against her former high school teammate, Kelsey Mullen, who now plays for the Spartans.
