Michigan State's volleyball team practiced at the renovated Pauley Pavilion on the UCLA campus Thursday in Los Angeles. The Spartans are preparing to race San Diego in the NCAA tournament's opening round game at 8:30pm Michigan time Friday. If MSU wins the Spartans likely face rugged UCLA on its home court Saturday to get into the sweet 16. MSU finished 6th in the Big Ten, 23-9 overall and were shutout in their final two matches by Michigan and top ranked Penn State after winning six straight matches.
