Michigan State announced Tuesday it will open its 2013 football season for the third straight year with a home night game. Western Michigan is the foe and the date is Friday, Aujgust 30th. The game time and television affiliation are yet to be announced. MSU opened at night in 2011 against Youngstown State and in 2012 against Boise State.
