Branden Dawson scored 17 points and had a key dunk late in the game leading Michigan State's basketball team to a 62-59 win at Iowa Thursday night. The Spartans trailed by 12 at one time in the first half and trailed 28-24 at halftime. They took the lead after the game was tied at 56-all. Keith Appling scored 12 and had 7 rebounds. Zach McCabe came off the bench to lead the Hawkeyes with 15 points. MSU is now 2-1 in the Big Ten, 13-3 overall and hosts Nebraska at 7pm Sunday.
