Michigan State announced tri captains Thursday for the 2012 football season. They are junior quarterback Andrew Maxwell, junior linebacker Max Bullough and senior linebacker Chris Norman. They'll lead the Spartans into their opening game, Friday, August 31st at 8pm in Spartan Stadium against Boise State. None has been a captain at MSU previously.
