MSU Men's Golf Finishes Second at Fighting Irish Tournament

Michigan State's men's golf team finished runner up Tuesday in the 54-hole Fighting Irish Gridiron Classic golf tournament, held at Notre Dame. The Spartans were ten over par for their three rounds on the Warren Course. Redshirt freshman Sean Friel had his best tournament as a Spartan, tying for fifth at two under par 211, firing a 68 in Tuesday's final round. MSU's Mitch Rutledge also shot 68 Tuesday and finished 12th at two over par. Houston won the tournament.
