Michigan State's hockey team lost its season opener at Minnesota Friday night 5-1. The Gophers are pre season number one ranked-- and the teams meet again at 9pm Saturday. MSU fell behind 5-0 before Tanner Sorenson ruined the shutout with a goal late ini the third period for Michigan State. Will Yanakeff was in goal for the Spartans the entire game.
