Michigan State's baseball team practiced on the artificial field turf inside the Ralph Young Track Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures broke a record in the high 50s. MSU hosts its 5th annual First Pitcher Dinner at noon Sunday at Kellogg Center. The Spartans open their season in South Carolina February 15th and they are scheduled for 56 games.
