MSU Approves Spartan Stadium Renovation

Rendering of the proposed new locker rooms inside Spartan Stadium

Michigan State's board of trustees, as expected, approved Friday a $24.5 million renovation to the North end zone area of Spartan Stadiuim. Work will begin in July and take about a year to complete, for the most part. The two story building addition will include meeting rooms, a recruiting area, media center and other amenities. Concourse upgrades are included in the project and so are new locker rooms for both teams. Monies are being provided from athletic department revenues.
