Michigan State's men's soccer team has advanced to the Big Ten title game Sunday in Evanston, Illinois. After beating Indiana 2-1 in Wednesday's quarter-final, the Spartans knocked out top seed Penn State 3-1 on Friday. Cody Henderson, Adam Montague and Jay Chapman scored the MSU goals. MSU is now 10-9-1 and plays at 1pm Sunday on the Big Ten Network for the title. MSU faces the winner of the late Friday game between Michigan and Northwestern and the Wolverines had a 2-0 lead at halftime. Michigan beat Michigan State in the regular season finale last Saturday, 1-0 in Ann Arbor. MSU figures it must win the Big Ten tournament to make the NCAA tournament.
