Alabama is the new number one team in this week's Associated Press college football poll released on Tuesday. USC is number two. Michigan State rose to number 11 and Michigan fell to 19th. MSU is the highest ranked Big Ten team. Alabama is a 40-point favorite at home Saturday against Western Kentucky.
