Four Lansing Lugnuts pitchers combined on a 5-hit shutout Monday in a 3-0 win over the South Bend Silver Hawks. The Lugnuts pitchers also struck out 16 batters on a cold, windy night at Cooley Law School Stadium. The Lugnuts were tied 0-0 until they scored single runs in the 6th, 7th and 8th innings. Lansing now has a 10-1 record, best start in the franchise's 17-year history. The teams meet again at 7:05pm Tuesday and Wednesday.
