After splitting four games in Lansing with West Michigan, the Lugnuts opened a three game home series with the Bowling Green Hot Rods with a 7-3 win on Wednesday night. The Lugnuts built up a 6-0 lead after five innings and coasted from there. Lansing's 22-10 record is the best in the Midwest League. The teams meet again at 7:05pm Thursday at Cooley Law School Stadium.
