Lugnuts Beat West Michigan

The last place Lansing Lugnuts beat West Michigan's Whitecaps 6-2 Wednesday night at Comstock Park. A five run second inning was the key for the Lugnuts, who improve to 20-32 in the second half of the Midwest League season with 18 games remaining. Emilio Guerrero had a three for four night for Lansing, single, double and triple in that order, a home run shy of the cycle. Ben White was the winning pitcher, improving his season record to 8-6.
