In Rochester, Michigan Thursday, Oakland University beat South Dakota State 92-87 in a men's Horizon League mild basketball upset. Okemos' Travis Bader had 37 points for Okemos and former Sexton star Drew Valentine added 19. Oakland is now 12-11 on the season and South Dakota State falls to 16-6.
